July Glossybox: Unboxing

Image-1 (1)

This months Glossybox is the first of their new summer collector’s edition boxes, based on sun, travel and holidays the products in this box will deliver when it comes to the heat! It contains a few travel sizes ready to go straight in your hand luggage/suitcase and some makeup that can stand the humidity! First of all how gorgeous is this months box?!

lets take a look inside…

Bellaphierre Cosmetics | Banana Setting Powder | RRP £25

Well I’ve never heard of this brand before but I definitely have heard of banana setting powder. With one of the latest trends being ‘baking’ with loose powder (that I have tried) this powder is supposed to be perfect for it. The yellow hue to this powder helps to counteract redness, discoloration, blemishes and dark circles in paler skin tones or help create a lovely highlight in darker skin tones. For the price tag I’m really hoping I can get this to work for me as I’m yet to find a loose powder that does the job!

Cutebalms | Macaroon Tint Balm In Crushed Berry | RRP £5.99

How cute is this macaroon shaped lip & cheek tint? I actually can’t believe how cute it is! It smells so good and would be perfect for popping into your handbag for little touchups throughout the day. It’s also such a lovely summer shade!

Monu Professional Skincare | MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion | RRP £19.95

Once again, I’ve never heard of this brand before but this after sun actually sounds so so good. The ingredients include soothing aloe vera, vitamin E and shea butter! It helps cool, hydrate and calm skin after being in the sun and can be used on the body and face. This will be perfect whether you’re on holiday or when you’ve been in the sun at home, either way everyone needs some after sun in the summer!

Papaganda | Spiral Hair Band | RRP £4.99

I actually have some bobbles similar to these but I really like them so I’m happy I now have a couple more. There’s two in the packet a super cute pink one and a regular see-through one. They’re really good for preventing split ends and damage to the hair compared to regular super tight bobbles and also can be great if you need your hair up and out the way but don’t want to get that dreaded bump from having a bobble in when you go to take it out again!

Spectrum Collections | Small Fan Brush – A10 | RRP £4.99

Last of all is the product I already knew I would be getting but was the most excited for EVER. Spectrum brushes are my absolute favourites and I use them every single day, I already have 3 sets, the Siren Sculpt, the 4 Piece Contour Face Set and 8 Piece Eye Blending Set which I actually did a review on for one of my very first posts on this blog! You can check it out here but be warned, I really need to update the photos of this post! Anyways back to the brush in question, I didn’t yet have a fan brush and have wanted one of theirs for so long so i’m so happy I finally have one and can’t wait to use it! This is going to be perfect for applying highlighter, and just look how gorgeous it is!

That’s all for this months box! What did you think? Do you fancy signing up to Glossybox with a 3 month, 6 month, 12 month or monthly subscription? Click here to receive £5 off your first box!
