Bhave Hair: Repair And Protect

thumbnail_Image

So a couple of months ago I was contacted by the lovely Bhave Hair. This got me super excited as I’ve seen their products and read great reviews on other blogs and Instagram pages and I’ve wanted to try them ever since! With the company being based in Australia I was a little worried about costs for shipping and things for some products I had never tried before, but not only that they come in really big sizes too. The smallest shampoo and conditioner is 300ml which is a lot of product to go to waste if you end up not liking it. This also makes the products a little more on the pricey side just because of how big they are. So all of that being said, I was super excited to receive some lovely samples in the post for me to try out and I can’t wait to share with you my thoughts!

So the lovely Sheryl at Bhave Hair asked my what my hair was like so she could send me the right products to suit my needs. My hair is quite fine, long, wavy but gets very dry at the ends which can become damaged quite easily.

So let’s take a look at which products I received…

Rescue Shampoo | RRP £25.60

First up we have the rescue shampoo. As soon as I smelt all of the products especially this and the conditioner, they reminded me of salon hair products which meant they had that luxurious and professional smell which I really liked and got me even more excited to try them. I wasn’t too sure about the shampoo at first as you have to use a little more than usual if you want it to ‘lather’ which is what I’m used to happening with a shampoo. I soon got used to this though as I only had a 60ml sample and didn’t want it to disappear too quickly from using too much with each wash. I realised that even though my head isn’t a giant foam bubble, my hair is still getting just as clean and all the benefits from the shampoo.  The shampoo really did do a great job of cleaning my hair too and it felt really fresh after use.

Rescue Conditioner | RRP £25.60

Next up we have the conditioner to match the shampoo. Now I really enjoyed using this conditioner! With my hair being so fine and the conditioner so light, it didn’t weigh down my hair at all. It also really feels like it nourishes the ends of my hair and leaves it so easy to comb through once I’m out of the shower too, totally tangle-free!

Super Nova | £18.60

This new ‘Super Nova’ is a game changer. This little product right here is an all-in-one leave in elixir that has so many benefits! This is best used on towel-dried hair before blow drying and as with most of these products a little really does go a long way. Some of the benefits include helping to detangle, adding moisture to the hair, slowing down the process of split ends, preventing frizz, help thicken and strengthen, helps restore damage and leaves the hair feeling soft and looking glossy. What more could you want from one product?! I honestly love it and look forward to using it before I blow-dry.

Fresh Ends RRP £14.85

I also received two little pots of Bhave’s ‘Fresh Ends’ which is the finishing touches to styling your hair no matter what hairstyle you’re going for. When your hair is dry you simply get a tiny amount on the tips of your fingers, rub them together and then gently rub it through the ends of your hair or on any fly aways to keep everything in place and frizz-free. Fresh Ends also helps with smoothing, repairing and sealing any split ends in sight or just smoothing the ends of your hair to finish the look. I literally use this everyday it’s so nice and just makes my hair look so much better. You really do only need a tiny amount so make sure you don’t get too much product otherwise your hair might look a bit weird! This is definitely one of my favourites, I actually don’t know how I managed without it before?

Overall I really enjoyed using these products and I’m pretty gutted I’ve already used up my shampoo, conditioner and super nova, I’m already missing them! I think I’ll definitely have to invest in these products in the full size and look into how much shipping will be to the U.K. Since using the products I feel like my hair is much more manageable with less split ends, smoother and a little thicker too which is really helping with my hair growth but in a more even way which is definitely a bonus.

Have any of you tried these products? I would love to hear your thoughts!
