May Glossybox: Unboxing

This months Glossybox is all about the essentials and I’m so excited to be trying some of the products inside. Not only are they essential but most of them are super affordable to buy too which is always a bonus! So let’s take a look inside…

Dr.PAWPAW | Original Balm | RRP £6.95

I’ve heard some great things about this brand and this balm sounds like the perfect product to test out first. It is a really multi-use product, you can use it on your lips, skin, hair, brows basically anything! It also has some great ingredients such as aloe vera, olive oil and of course pawpaw which nourishes and smooths the skin. It’s also fragrance, cruelty free and vegan-friendly which means it’s great for everyone! I can’t wait to start using this, hopefully it will be perfect in every way like it sounds!

Scrub Love | Active Charcoal Scrub | RRP £13.95

Next up we have one of the most exciting things in this box, a body scrub which is also charcoal-based! I’ve been wanting to try one of these types of scrubs for so long but just never get round to picking one so i’m really looking forward to this. Charcoal being one of the most ancient detoxing ingredients it’s great for absorbing all the impurities from the skin and leaving it clean and fresh, I love using charcoal products! This scrub is also 100% natural, vegan and vegetarian-friendly and is free from micro-beads! You get a lot of scrub in the packet too and its resealable to keep it nice and hygienic. Also how pretty is the packaging?!

Daily Concepts | Exfoliating Body Scrubber| RRP £4

This is an in the shower body sponge and is perfect to go with the body scrub for that extra exfoliation and hard-to-smooth spots like elbows and knees! One side is smooth which you can use for regular shower gel and the other has the scratchier exfoliating side so another great multi-use product! Apparently when the writing on the label starts to fade, that’s the indicator for you to replace it too which is always useful!

Caudalie | Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet | RRP £23

Next we have a lightweight gel/cream from Caudalie in gorgeous pink packaging which is designed to calm and reactivate hydration of sensitive and dry skin. The gel/cream turns to water as it touches the skin which sounds really interesting and perfect for when my skin is in need of some extra hydration. Grape water and chamomile are just some of the ingredients in what sounds like a dreamy formula so I can’t wait to give this a go!

Ruby | Powder Blush in Coral | RRP €14.99

Finally we have this coral blush from Ruby. Now I’m not sure about this one, it looks really bright in the pan and I just cannot pull off bright blushes, I look like a clown! But maybe with a really light stroke it could be super pretty or with a tan it might look gorgeous. We’ll have to wait and see with this one, but if it suits me i’ll be really surprised!

So that’s everything from this months box and I have to say I’m really loving the look of almost all of the products this month and cannot wait to start using them! Have any of you used any of these? I’ll try to keep you updated on how I get on either on the blog or on Instagram so stay tuned for the updates!
